5About WSD Mini-THON
Wilson Mini-THON is an official part of the Penn State's Dance Marathon (THON). THON is the largest student-run philanthropy organization in the world, with all proceeds going to help fight pediatric cancer at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. All proceeds raised through Penn State's THON and all of the participating Mini-THONs are directly given to the Four Diamonds Fund. The Four Diamonds Fund aids patients at the Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital by offsetting the cost of treatment that insurance does not cover. In addition to treatment costs, the Four Diamonds Fund also aids families financially by covering costs that by be disrupted to the child's ailment such as car rentals, hotel rentals, gas vouchers, any other uncovered bills.
How to Get Involved
Students at Wilson High School can sign up to become dancers by visiting the "Dancer Info" tab. Dancers are required to raise a minimum amount of donations on our safe and secure website collecting tool, Donor Drive. For those who want to do more than just dance, they may sign up to be a committee member by contacting the overall, Julia Trickett, [email protected]. For those who are not attendees of Wilson High School but wish to participate, they may do so by joining us at our Community Carnival, attending our various fundraisers, or by simply donating to our cause.

The Event
Our Mini-THON is a non-profit, annual fundraiser consisting of a 12-hour, no-sitting event. The participants, also referred to as "dancers", are high school students of all grades, who raise a minimum amount of donations in order to participate. At Mini-THON students are entertained non-stop throughout the night by various activities such as class wars, RAVES, talent shows, teacher impressions, and much more! In addition to all of the fun and games, we also have multiple Four Diamond Families come and share their stories to our dancers. To conclude our event, the Mini-THON captains lift the numbers, and reveal the grand total for our Mini-THON.
Mini-THON 2025
Mini-THON 2025 is in March! HS Dancers will begin their "no sitting" journey at 6 o'clock pm and it will continue until 6 o'clock am! We hope you will be able to help us reach our goal!
